Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre (MGRC) was incorporated in Malaysia on 3 August 2004 as a private limited company and was officially launched in 2005 at the internationally renowned Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology Symposium in the United States. Following several years of commercialisation, we subsequently converted into a public limited company on 25 January 2010.

We are a leading provider of bioinformatics services in South-East Asia, offering high-end and rapid turnaround sequencing and computational analytical services to customers around the world.

The key components that form the backbone of our operations include our Contract Genomics Services, Sequencing Services, and Data and Access Services.

Our high throughput sequence analysis tools, and customised pipelines and software are used extensively throughout the world by leading research, academic and commercial institutions. Backed by a team of domain experts, we have successfully completed a wide array of groundbreaking research and commercial projects, involving the oil palm and human cancer genomes, among others.
