Direct Sequencing Measures Mutation Rate In Humans

Sequencing Findings Suggest Intestinal Parasite May Actually Comprise Two Different Species
An international research team has reported the first direct measurement of the general rate of genetic mutation at individual base level in humans by sequencing the Y chromosome from two men separated by 13 generations.
